Amends Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 62L.02, subdivision 11, to correct a cross-reference from section 62Q.01, subdivision 9 to subdivision 2a regarding the limiting age definition for dependent children in health plans.

Updates the definition of "dependent" for health plan purposes to include dependent children up to the limiting age, disabled dependent children of any age meeting specified criteria, and other persons required by state or federal law to be treated as dependents.

Clarifies that dependent children include legally adopted children, children for whom the employee or spouse is legal guardian, and grandchildren with continued eligibility as specified in section 62A.302, subdivision 4.

Makes the amendment effective at the time the corrected provision becomes effective, with no specific implementation date specified.
