Amends Minnesota Statutes section 256B.441, subdivision 30 to make technical corrections to median total care-related per diem calculations for nursing facilities

Requires the commissioner to determine median total care-related per diem and median other operating per diem using cost reports from nursing facilities in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington Counties

Defines median total care-related per diem as the median direct care cost for a RUG's weight of 1.00 and median other operating per diem as the sum of administrative, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance costs divided by resident days

Effective retroactively from January 1, 2016, and expires on the effective date of 2016 S.F. No. 2539, if enacted during the 2016 regular legislative session
