Extends eligibility for the graduation incentives program to pupils aged 21 to 23 who are English learners with interrupted formal education according to Minnesota Statutes section 124D.59, subdivision 2a.

Eligible pupils aged 21 to 23 may participate in graduation incentives program under section 124D.68 and in job training and other adult education programming under section 124D.231.

Pupils in the expanded age group are funded in the same manner as other pupils under the graduation incentives program.

Appropriates unspecified amount from the general fund in fiscal year 2017 to the commissioner of education for payment of additional general education aid costs for the expanded program.

Effective date for state aid is fiscal year 2017 and later.
