Removes the minimum six-month eligibility requirement for individuals on Ramsey County personnel lists, allowing the human resources director to determine term length without this constraint.

Directs the state revisor to change all references to "personnel department," "department of personnel," "personnel director," and "director of personnel" to "human resources department," "department of human resources," "human resources director," and "director of human resources" throughout Minnesota Statutes chapter 383A.

Repeals Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 383A.295, subdivision 3, which required mandatory retirement of county employees in classified and unclassified service at the first day of the month after reaching age 70.

Takes effect the day after the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners and the county's chief clerical officer comply with the required notice procedures under Minnesota Statutes section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
