Establishes a farm safety program under the commissioner of agriculture to provide information to farmers regarding safety challenges faced by farmers, their families, and hired workers.

Requires the commissioner to maintain a clearinghouse of relevant safety information via the department's website and actively promote the program to farmers and farm organizations.

Mandates the commissioner submit an annual report by February 1 to legislative committees with jurisdiction over agriculture policy and finance detailing program activities and accomplishments.

Appropriates $100,000 from the general fund to the commissioner of agriculture in fiscal year 2017 for implementation of the farm safety program.
