Establishes a Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Advisory Group composed of representatives from state agencies, judicial branch, law enforcement, prosecution, defense, corrections, courts, legislature, and public members appointed by the governor.

Designates the advisory group as the state advisory body to study and make recommendations on criminal justice information funding, policy, data practices, privacy rights, race and ethnicity data collection, information-sharing, technology, and legislative impacts.

Requires the advisory group to file biennial reports to the governor, Supreme Court, and legislature by January 15 in odd-numbered years on integration efforts, legislative recommendations, and activities.

Grants the advisory group authority to review funding requests from state, county, and municipal agencies for criminal justice information systems for compatibility with statewide standards and to recommend grants with required matching funds.

Maintains a task force to assist the advisory group by monitoring CriMNet projects, providing oversight, and reviewing funding requests for criminal justice information systems grants.
