Amends Minnesota Statutes sections 524.5-413 and 524.5-416 regarding conservator bond requirements for protected persons' estates.

Requires courts to mandate bonds when personal property in a conservator's initial inventory is expected to be at least $10,000, unless assets are held in blocked accounts that prevent conservator access without a court order.

Allows conservators to request asset blocking as an alternative to posting a bond if sufficient evidence shows assets are adequately protected from unauthorized access.

Permits conservators to reduce bond requirements by placing assets in blocked accounts; remaining unblocked assets expected to total $10,000 or more still require bonding.

Changes effective immediately and applies to conservators appointed or conservatorships reviewed by the court on or after the enactment date.
