Urges the Lac qui Parle county attorney to drop two gross misdemeanor charges against Angela Brown for child endangerment related to giving her son cannabis oil for pain relief from a traumatic brain injury suffered in April 2011.

Her son, Trey, experienced intense pain including headaches, muscle spasms, seizures, and self-harming behaviors after being struck in the head during a baseball game.

Angela Brown obtained medical cannabis oil legally in Colorado after exhausting other treatment options, including more than 19 prescribed medications, and reported significant pain relief within an hour of the first dose.

Calls on Governor Dayton to urge the county attorney to drop the charges and, if Brown is convicted, to request the Board of Pardons to pardon her.

Directs the Secretary of State to send copies of the resolution to Governor Mark Dayton and Lac qui Parle County Attorney Rick Stulz; medical cannabis products were scheduled to become available through Minnesota's state registry on July 1, 2015.
