Amends Minnesota Statutes 2015 Supplement, section 256B.76, subdivision 4, to modify critical access dental provider designation requirements.

Increases reimbursement to critical access dental providers by 35 percent above the standard reimbursement rate for dental services rendered on or after July 1, 2007.

Expands the definition of critical access dental providers to include health systems, group dental practices, and health plan companies with 50 percent or more patient encounters with uninsured or medical assistance-covered patients, replacing the previous threshold of more than 10,000 patient encounters.

Modifies private practicing dentist eligibility by establishing separate criteria based on location: dentists in the seven-county metropolitan area must have more than 50 percent uninsured or medical assistance-covered patients, while dentists outside this area need only 25 percent such patient encounters.

Removes the requirement that private practicing dentists' service be "critical to maintaining adequate levels of patient access" as a standalone designation criterion.
