Authorizes the Department of Commerce to collect comprehensive data on no-fault auto insurance claims from reporting entities including insurers, workers compensation carriers, health carriers, arbitration associations, and auto body shops.

Requires reporting entities to provide detailed data on no-fault accidents resulting in injuries, medical treatment costs compared across Medicare, workers compensation, and no-fault systems, and claim payment allocation broken down by those reaching or exceeding the $20,000 limit.

Mandates data collection on disputed claims including denied claims, independent medical examinations requested and completed, and bodily injury claims on an annual basis.

Requires detailed reporting on arbitration processes including number of awards, award amounts and ranges, arbitrator availability, caseloads per arbitrator, and consolidated claim proceedings with timing and dollar amounts.

Revives the Task Force on No-Fault Auto Insurance with original membership and staffing, requiring submission of written recommendations incorporating collected data to legislative commerce and transportation committees by February 1, 2018.
