Commissioner of Labor and Industry shall convene a working group in consultation with the Commissioner of Health to address safe handling of chemotherapy drugs.

Working group must include up to three participants each from ten specified organizations: Department of Labor and Industry, Department of Health, Minnesota Nurses Association, Minnesota Hospital Association, Minnesota Organization of Registered Nurses, Minnesota Advanced Practice Registered Nurses Coalition, SEIU Healthcare, Minnesota Board of Pharmacy, Minnesota Pharmacists Association, and Minnesota Oncology Nurses Society.

Working group must convene no later than July 1, 2016 and report recommendations for improving chemotherapy drug safety to legislative committees with jurisdiction over health and labor and industry by January 1, 2017.

One-time appropriation from the general fund in fiscal year 2017 to the Commissioner of Labor and Industry to convene and administer the working group (amount not specified in introduced version).
