Directs the Board of Teaching to adopt rules creating and issuing Montessori-specific full professional teaching licenses for schools endorsed by the American Montessori Society or Association Montessori Internationale

Requires candidates to hold a bachelor's degree and complete a Montessori-specific teacher preparation program from institutions accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education, American Montessori Society, or Association Montessori Internationale

Establishes five license types: early childhood (ages 2½-8), early elementary (grades 1-3), late elementary (grades 4-6), overall elementary (grades 1-6), and secondary in math, English language arts, science, or social studies (grades 6-12)

Requires Montessori license candidates to complete the same pedagogy, content, and skills exams as other Minnesota teachers in their respective license categories

Restricts Montessori-licensed teachers to teaching only in Montessori schools and allows license renewal every five years with Montessori-focused professional development
