Manufacturers of cosmetics sold in Minnesota must disclose the full list of ingredients on their website, including all component ingredients of fragrances, flavors, and color additives.

Each ingredient must include its Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) number on the manufacturer's website.

Ingredients must be listed in descending order of predominance, except ingredients present at one percent concentration or less may be listed in any order.

Manufacturers are not required to disclose ingredient concentrations on their website.

The attorney general enforces this requirement, effective January 1, 2017.
