Mandates recipients receive notice and up to 30 days to confirm information or provide reasonable explanations for discrepancies, with eligibility termination only after the response period expires without adequate response.

Protects recipients cooperating with the verification process by prohibiting termination if they need additional time to provide required information.

Changes the reporting deadline from September 1 to December 1 annually, requiring reports to legislative committees detailing cases affected, selection methods, recipients identified as ineligible, and termination statistics.
