Amends Minnesota Statutes 2015 Supplement, section 103D.335, subdivision 21, to modify how watershed districts use revenue from leasing state bond-financed property acquired for flood control purposes.

Requires revenue from operation or lease of state bond-financed flood control property to be deposited in the general fund and appropriated to the commissioner of natural resources for flood hazard mitigation grants under section 103F.161.

Removes previous language allowing watershed districts to retain revenue in project-specific accounts and use excess funds (above 5 percent of original project cost) for other flood control projects with commissioner approval.
