Appropriates $1,500,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2017 to the Commissioner of Human Services for children's mental health grants under Minnesota Statutes section 245.4889, subdivision 1, paragraph (b), clause (8).

Funds directed to current grantees to expand access to school-linked mental health services.

Provides training to grantees on the use of evidence-based practices.

Adds $4,500,000 to the base for children's mental health grants in fiscal year 2018.
