Permits sensory testing firms to possess, purchase, and allow consumption of alcohol by trained assessors for product testing purposes at controlled facilities.

Defines "trained sensory assessors" as members of the public at least 21 years of age who receive a minimum of one hour of training to test products.

Requires sensory testing firms serving alcohol to obtain a license from the Department of Public Safety, which may charge a fee to cover administrative costs.

Mandates that firms maintain records of all testing protocols for at least one year and comply with section 340A.409 and other applicable state laws.

Becomes effective the day following final enactment.
