Early childhood family education (ECFE) revenue may be used for ECFE programs or to supplement school readiness programs.

Not more than five percent of ECFE revenue may be used for program administration.

ECFE programs may use up to ten percent of revenue for equipment purchases or leases, including computers and instructional materials, with commissioner approval required for unusual circumstances exceeding this limit.

School readiness aid may be used to provide school readiness programs or supplement ECFE programs and may fund transportation.

School readiness aid cannot be used for special education services, land purchase, or building construction, but may be used to lease or renovate existing buildings.
