Extends the statute of limitations for civil actions alleging sexual abuse of minors from three years to eight years following the effective date of Laws 2013, chapter 89, section 1

Applies to actions that would otherwise be time-barred under previous versions of Minnesota Statutes, section 541.073, or other applicable time limits

Excludes claims for vicarious liability or respondeat superior, but applies to other claims including negligence

Applies retroactively to actions pending on or commenced on or after the effective date of this amendment

Becomes effective the day following final enactment
