Appropriates an unspecified amount from the general fund in fiscal year 2017 to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) and the University of Minnesota to develop educational materials about teaching careers.

Materials must increase awareness of career opportunities in early childhood through grade 12 education fields.

Educational materials must be appropriate for students from 7th grade through the second year of postsecondary education, students of color, and rural communities.

Allows materials to be developed in collaboration with Education Minnesota, school districts, and the Department of Education representing employers in the teaching field.
