Prohibits any person from recording or broadcasting criminal proceedings, including trials, hearings, motions, and arguments, without express consent from the defendant, victim, prosecutor, and any subpoenaed witnesses, plus permission from the presiding judge.

Applies to television, radio, audio, photographic, and other recording equipment, but excludes equipment approved by the court for making the official court record or closed-circuit interactive television.

Violating the prohibition is a petty misdemeanor offense.

Effective August 1, 2017, and applies to proceedings occurring on or after that date.
