Commissioner of natural resources must issue a water level control permit to the Bois de Sioux Watershed District for Big Lake in Grant County.

Big Lake must be maintained at an elevation of 1,073 feet from May 1 to October 1 each year.

Lake must be drawn down to an elevation of 1,072 feet prior to the lake freezing.

Permit requirements override Minnesota Statutes sections 103G.407 and 103G.408.
