Amends Minnesota Statutes section 157.22 to add a new exemption for food served at fundraisers or community events conducted by faith-based organizations in their buildings or on their grounds.

Requires that a certified food manager or a volunteer trained in a food safety course must train food preparation workers in safe food handling practices for the exemption to apply.

Exemption does not apply to faith-based organizations operating at state agricultural society or county fairs, or to organizations that choose to apply for a license.

Adds exemptions for food served at fundraisers or community events by Amish or Mennonite community members at town halls, community centers, or similar facilities.
