Postpones the statutory review of Minnesota state mathematics academic standards and benchmarks from the 2015-2016 school year to the 2020-2021 school year, with subsequent reviews every ten years thereafter.

Maintains the ten-year review cycle for all state academic standards and requires the commissioner of education to examine alignment with career and college readiness during each review period.

Stagger reviews of other subject areas: arts beginning 2016-2017, science beginning 2017-2018, language arts beginning 2018-2019, and social studies beginning 2019-2020, each recurring every ten years.

Requires statewide mathematics assessments for grades 3-8 and 11 to remain aligned with state mathematics standards.

Directs school districts and charter schools to revise local standards in health, world languages, and career and technical education on their own timelines and establish periodic review cycles for these subjects.
