Regional emergency medical services programs and ambulance services licensed under Minnesota Statutes section 144E.16 must develop stroke transport protocols

Protocols must establish standards of care for triage and transport of acute stroke patients from symptom onset to hospital

Transport must be directed to the most appropriate designated acute stroke ready hospital, primary stroke center, or comprehensive stroke center

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 144E.16, by adding a new subdivision 7
