Board of Teaching must annually collect valid, reliable, and timely data comparing efficacy of state-approved teacher preparation programs in cooperation with colleges, universities, and the Office of Higher Education.

Board of Teaching must publish summary data by June 1 each year in an understandable, accessible electronic format on a jointly-hosted website with the Office of Higher Education.

Summary report must include student entrance requirements, test scores, performance assessments, faculty qualifications, program completion time, graduate employment rates, credit requirements, exam pass rates, student satisfaction surveys, principal/supervising teacher satisfaction, and evaluation outcomes for newly licensed teachers.

An unspecified amount from the general fund is appropriated to the Board of Teaching to collect and report the comparison data on teacher preparation programs.

Requirements become effective the day following final enactment and apply to reports published beginning June 1, 2016.
