Congratulates Josephine Zehnle Terwey of Long Prairie, Minnesota, on reaching her 100th birthday on June 5, 2016.

Recognizes her accomplishments including graduating from Long Prairie High School in 1933, being crowned Miss Todd County in 1934, and earning a degree in Home Economics from the College of St. Benedict in 1939.

Acknowledges her professional career as a dietitian in the U.S. Air Force and subsequent 16-year career as a social worker for Todd County specializing in work with the elderly.

Notes her service on the Minnesota State Board on Aging, volunteer work in her church and community, and expertise as a quilter with work exhibited at state and local quilt shows.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare and transmit an enrolled copy of this resolution to Josephine Zehnle Terwey.
