Honors the Apple Valley High School Iron Maidens robotics team, a FIRST Tech Challenge team of six 10th-graders, for winning the World Championship Connect Award at the FIRST World Championships in St. Louis in late April.

Recognizes the Connect Award as recognition for the team's excellence in providing community outreach to promote STEM education.

Acknowledges the team's planned participation in a National Advocacy Conference in Washington, DC on June 18–22, 2016, where they will advocate to United States senators and members of Congress for STEM initiatives.

Lists the team's goals for the trip including building communication skills, increasing national STEM awareness, understanding STEM policy issues, strengthening government-STEM relationships, and networking with key figures.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare and transmit an authenticated copy of this resolution to the Apple Valley High School Iron Maidens.
