Appropriates $7,851,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of administration for repair and renovation of the historic truss bridge over Minnehaha Creek at the Minneapolis Veterans Home.

Authorizes repairs and improvements to the bridge's superstructure and substructure to enhance structural integrity and allow heavier loads, along with bridge deck and embankment repairs.

Requires maintenance of existing fiber optic, cable television, telephone, and water utilities on the bridge during repair work.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $7,851,000 to provide the appropriated funds, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and the Minnesota Constitution.

Becomes effective the day following final enactment.
