Establishes a rebate program administered by the Pollution Control Agency for Minnesota schools to purchase propane school buses and install propane fueling stations.

Propane school buses must be registered and licensed in Minnesota, and fueling stations must be located in Minnesota.

Rebates cover up to 25 percent of propane school bus costs (maximum $25,000) and up to 50 percent of fueling station costs (maximum $50,000).

Schools may receive no more than five propane school bus rebates per year and one fueling station rebate.

Funds $1,500,000 annually from the Volkswagen environmental mitigation settlement trust to award rebates through a competitive request for proposal process.
