• Establishes a Metro Mobility Enhancement Task Force to examine options for enhancing Metro Mobility program service by partnering with transportation network companies to increase service levels and efficiency.

• Task force membership includes representatives from Metro Mobility, metropolitan counties, 1-3 transportation network company representatives, Transportation Accessibility Advisory Committee, Council on Disability, Association of Residential Resources of Minnesota, Best Choice Alliance, and Center for Transportation Studies at University of Minnesota.

• Task force must evaluate the Metro Mobility program including customer service, costs, service coverage, reservation systems, and equipment; analyze partnership approaches with transportation network companies; and review models from other service areas.

• Task force must submit a legislative report by February 15, 2018 to transportation policy and finance committee chairs summarizing findings, describing current Metro Mobility program, identifying at least three potential service level approaches involving transportation network companies, and providing recommendations for program and legislative changes.

• Task force expires June 30, 2018, unless the Legislative Audit Commission selects Metro Mobility for program evaluation before June 1, 2017, in which case the task force expires June 1, 2017; applies in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties.
