Increases renewable energy standard for electric utilities from 20 percent to 25 percent by 2020, and adds new 50 percent requirement by 2030.

Raises standard for utilities with nuclear facilities from 30 percent to 37 percent by 2025, maintaining 50 percent requirement by 2030.

Removes strikethrough language specifying that 2020 standard for nuclear-owning utilities must include at least 25 percent wind or solar (with no more than 1 percent solar and at least 24 percent wind).

Requires electric utilities to generate or procure electricity from eligible energy technologies to meet percentage standards for retail customers in Minnesota by specified years.
