School districts, excluding charter schools, qualify for general education disparity aid if their adjusted net tax capacity per adjusted pupil unit or referendum market value per resident pupil unit falls at or below the 20th percentile of all districts.

A district's general education disparity aid allowance equals 0.7 times the difference between the 20th percentile district's general education revenue per adjusted pupil unit and the individual district's revenue per adjusted pupil unit (excluding referendum revenue).

Beginning in fiscal year 2018, a district's total general education disparity aid equals its aid allowance multiplied by its adjusted pupil units.

Money is appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Education for fiscal years 2018 and 2019 to fund the general education disparity aid program (specific dollar amounts left blank).
