Designates members and employees of the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board and Board of School Administrators as mandated reporters of child neglect and abuse under Minnesota Statutes section 626.556.

School boards must report to the appropriate licensing board within 10 days when a teacher or administrator is discharged, suspended, or resigns following certain charges or during investigations related to misconduct.

Licensing boards must transmit received records and data to the Attorney General's Office to assist in investigations, and must consider disciplinary action within 45 days of receiving a stipulation or administrative law judge recommendation.

Licensing boards must report to law enforcement agencies any revocation, suspension, or agreement involving loss of license for a teacher or administrator's inappropriate sexual conduct with a minor.

The bill becomes effective the day following final enactment.
