State must pay 12.5 cents per free student lunch, 52.5 cents per reduced-price lunch, and $3.125 per lunch for students who do not qualify for free or reduced-price meals, effective fiscal year 2019 and later.

School lunch participants receiving state aid must provide lunch without charge to all students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals.

Participants must ensure reminders for outstanding student meal balances do not demean or stigmatize children in the school lunch program.

Participants may continue to charge students fees for à la carte items.

State appropriates $16,721,000 for fiscal year 2018 and $169,782,000 for fiscal year 2019 for school lunch aid.
