Exempts child care providers from Minnesota Rules chapter 9544 (positive support strategies training rule) for programs caring for children with developmental disabilities or related conditions.

Requires family child care and group family child care programs to comply with individualized education programs (IEPs) developed under section 125A.08 when one exists for a child.

Requires child care centers to comply with individual child care program plans under Minnesota Rules part 9503.0065, subpart 3, when one exists for a child.

Prohibits staff at licensed family child care, group family child care, and child care center programs from using procedures identified in section 245D.06, subdivision 5, when serving children with developmental disabilities or related conditions.
