Appropriates $970,000 from the general fund to Heartland Girls Ranch in Benson for predesigning, designing, constructing, furnishing, and equipping a ten-bed house and second horse riding arena.

Appropriates $500,000 from the general fund to Life House in Duluth to complete renovation of a ten-bed transitional shelter and adjacent building to expand supportive services including education and employment.

Appropriates $1,000,000 from the general fund to The Link in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area to purchase the Passageways Emergency Shelter and Housing property and construct an addition providing ten to 15 additional units.

Total appropriation of $2,470,000 from the general fund distributed through the Commissioner of Human Services as grants to three organizations.

Effective the day following final enactment.
