Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 84.83, subdivision 3, to modify the snowmobile trails and enforcement account purposes and allocation.

Expands eligible grant-in-aid locations for snowmobile trail construction and maintenance to include specific named lakes in St. Louis County (Burntside, Crane, Little Long, Mud, Pelican, Shagawa, Vermilion) and Cook County (Devil Track, Hungry Jack).

Requires at least 60 percent of revenue from snowmobile registration and state trail sticker fees to be expended for grants-in-aid to develop, maintain, groom trails, and acquire easements.

Maintains four primary account purposes: grants-in-aid for trail construction and maintenance, acquisition and development of state recreational snowmobile trails, snowmobile safety programs, and administration and enforcement of snowmobile regulations with grants to local law enforcement.

Effective July 1, 2018.
