Appropriates $2,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Metropolitan Council for a grant to the city of St. Paul for asset preservation improvements at Como Zoo.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $2,000,000 to provide funding for the appropriation.

Bond issuance follows procedures specified in Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and Minnesota Constitution article XI, sections 4 to 7.

Funds may be used for capital improvements and betterments to Como Zoo's infrastructure and exhibits.

Provision becomes effective the day following final enactment.
