Appropriates an unspecified amount from the general fund in fiscal year 2019 to the Office of the Legislative Auditor to conduct a study comparing financing of chartered public schools versus traditional public schools.

Study must examine the scope and impact on educational opportunities for students that result from differences in funding between charter and traditional public schools.

Office of the Legislative Auditor must deliver study findings and recommendations to chairs and ranking minority members of legislative committees with primary jurisdiction over kindergarten through grade 12 education.

Study report deadline is January 30, 2019.

Effective date is the day following final enactment.
