Commissioner must issue "Lions Clubs International" special license plates for passenger automobiles, noncommercial one-ton pickup trucks, motorcycles, or recreational vehicles upon meeting eligibility requirements.

Applicants must pay a $10 additional fee per set of plates, standard registration tax, and contribute a minimum of $25 initially and $5 annually to the Lions Clubs International account.

Plate design must include the recognized emblem of Lions Clubs International and the inscription "We Serve."

Special plates may be transferred to another vehicle registered to the same individual for a $5 transfer fee if the vehicle qualifies for the plates.

Contributions are deposited in the Lions Clubs International account in the special revenue fund, with funds appropriated first for administrative costs and remaining funds distributed to Lions Clubs International to support the organization's mission.

Effective date is January 1, 2019.
