Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 13.43, subdivision 8, to authorize disclosure of certain private personnel data to complainants in sexual harassment investigations.

Allows disclosure to complainants of whether allegations were substantiated and whether allegations resulted in disciplinary or nondisciplinary corrective action.

Restricts complainants from further releasing received private personnel data except to courts, law enforcement agencies, prosecuting authorities, civil rights enforcement authorities, or their attorney when relevant to obtaining restraining orders or pursuing legal remedies.

Maintains existing protections preventing accused employees from accessing complainant or witness identifying information if such access would threaten personal safety or subject them to harassment.

Ensures accused employees receive necessary data on complainants and witnesses when a disciplinary proceeding is initiated against them.
