Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 638.02, subdivision 3 to authorize sealing of criminal records when the Board of Pardons grants a pardon extraordinary.

Requires courts to order all records relating to arrest, indictment or information, trial, verdict, and pardon sealed upon receipt of a pardon extraordinary from the Board of Pardons.

Prohibits disclosure of the existence of sealed records or opening of records except under court order or pursuant to section 609A.03, subdivision 7a, paragraph (b), clause (1).

Requires courts to send copies of the sealing order and pardon to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and all other government entities holding affected records.
