Creates Task Force on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women to be appointed by the Commissioner of Public Safety by September 1, 2018, in consultation with the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council.

Task force shall examine systemic causes of violence against indigenous women and girls, data collection methods, governmental policies and practices impacting these communities, measures to reduce violence, and victim support and healing resources.

Task force shall include representatives from law enforcement, tribal governments, county attorneys, health organizations, coroners, nongovernmental organizations, and two indigenous women survivors of gender violence, meeting at least quarterly.

Task force shall submit annual reports to legislative committees with jurisdiction over public safety, human services, and state government beginning February 15, 2019, with recommendations to reduce violence and support victims and communities.

Task force expires June 30, 2024, and an unspecified amount from the general fund is appropriated for fiscal year 2019 to implement the task force.
