Board of Trustees of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities must contract with one or more independent mental health organizations to provide mental health care on campus at each state university and state college.

Mental health services must be provided without charge to students who are uninsured or whose health insurance does not cover the service provided.

Mental health organizations providing care must also provide information and guidance to students seeking health insurance.

$250,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for the required mental health services.
