Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 484.014, subdivision 3, regarding mandatory expungement of eviction cases.

Courts must order expungement of eviction cases commenced on specified grounds if the defendant occupied property subject to contract for deed cancellation or mortgage foreclosure and either vacated before the eviction action or did not receive proper notice to vacate.

Courts shall order expungement of any eviction case if more than three years have passed since the date of the order.
