Amends Minnesota Statutes section 363A.03, subdivision 43, to clarify the definition of sexual harassment in contexts involving employment, public accommodations, public services, education, and housing

Expands the third category of sexual harassment to include conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment without requiring the conduct to be severe or pervasive

Specifies that sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, sexually motivated physical contact, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature under three conditions: submission made a term of obtaining benefits, submission/rejection used in decisions, or conduct substantially interfering with or creating a hostile environment

Effective August 1, 2018, and applies to causes of action arising on or after that date
