Amends Minnesota Statutes section 169.71, subdivision 4, relating to vehicle window glazing material prohibitions and exceptions for registered motor vehicles

Adds exception allowing reduced light transmittance through vehicle windows if required to satisfy prescription or medical needs of the driver or passenger, provided a valid prescription or physician's statement of medical need is available in the vehicle

Requires the prescription or medical statement to identify the specific motor vehicle being operated and specify the minimum percentage that light transmittance may be reduced

Mandates that prescriptions or medical statements contain an expiration date no more than two years after issuance

Maintains existing exceptions for unmodified original windows, pickup truck rear windows, van rear/side windows, funeral vehicles, limousines, and police vehicles
