Amends Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 325F.245, subdivision 6 to add a new exclusion for pesticide or fertilizer applications by licensed commercial application companies.

Licensed commercial application companies must provide customers the ability to cancel or discontinue agreements at any time, for any reason, with full refund of prepaid services not provided and no cancellation penalties.

Commercial application companies must provide annual written notice to customers prior to the first application of each season regarding their right to cancel or discontinue.

Customers may cancel or discontinue agreements through written, electronic, verbal telephone, or in-person communication to company representatives or on-site service personnel.

The amendment is effective the day following final enactment and applies to agreements entered into on or after that date.
