Appropriates $1,144,000 in fiscal year 2018 for equity coaches to provide professional development activities to licensed teachers in Independent School District No. 283, St. Louis Park.

Appropriates $417,000 in fiscal year 2018 for equity coaches to provide professional development to paraprofessionals and unlicensed staff, including $1,000 for curriculum development tailored to nonteaching staff.

Appropriates $100,000 in fiscal year 2018 for professional development activities including materials, training seminars, individual coaching for administrators and cabinet members, and related expenses.

Appropriates $144,000 in fiscal year 2018 for coordination of the district's equity and diversity program.

Appropriates $150,000 in fiscal year 2018 for an outside evaluation of the equity coaching model; requires the district to post the evaluation on its website, file a copy with the commissioner of education, and submit it to the education committees of the legislature by January 15, 2020.
